Something about this series is addictive. I couldnt put it down.

Still ignoring Elias, he's past far the almost boring of the guys. And absolutely dear Draven.

Cannot wait for book four specially later that mini cliffhanger

2.5-three Stars. Honestly I'm even so intrigued past this series, I just feel like dang nosotros are on book 3 hither. Shouldn't nosotros have a little bit more answers by now. The reveals are really slow and the questions just go on pouring in. I withal similar our FMC just fine, though, she does miss a lot of obvious stuff and it bugs me at times. Important, flag raising, info will simply roll across the page and she won't even pick upwards on it fifty-fifty if information technology does actually raise flags for her.. she merely gets distracted quite eas 2.5-3 Stars. Honestly I'm however intrigued by this series, I just feel similar dang we are on book 3 here. Shouldn't we have a picayune bit more than answers by at present. The reveals are really ho-hum and the questions just keep pouring in. I still like our FMC just fine, though, she does miss a lot of obvious stuff and it bugs me at times. Important, flag raising, info will only roll across the folio and she won't even pick up on it fifty-fifty if it does actually enhance flags for her.. she simply gets distracted quite easily. As far equally the relationship with the guys.. I'm withal a little on the meh debate. There seemed to be a lot of insta and then not much follow up to really build up what I would call "existent" feelings.

At this indicate, I'chiliad just not sure this is really my jam. It's interesting enough to want to know what is happening just I just feel similar the characters and the reader only go along getting distracted by "filler." I probably going to shelve this for a while and see how I feel subsequently.

OMG 😲 what a Ride! This series once again has me stunned at the terminate of the book and this time besides tearful my eyes out! Conveying on from book ii this sees more than of the reverse harem relationship develop betwixt Harper and her men though however slowly progressing and brings in more mystery and twists and turns galore and that ending well my emotions are still reeling!! Well washed to the author, I tin can't wait for the side by side volume!

I'one thousand washed with this. I should take known from the serial title, "reverse harem", that this girl would be a thwarting. Likewise, The plethora of f-bombs and other swear words along with the poor editing just grated on my concluding nerve. It'due south sad really, considering the story is intriguing. I felt sadly disappointed by "Of Beasts and Blood", the third installment of the Cabalistic Arts Academy series.

I had been and so excited after the minor excerpt that was shared before it's release, simply I establish that the book itself was lacking in existent substance. I kept waiting in desperate anticipation for the more-ness that just never came.

I savage in love with the main characters in Book one and as others were introduced in Of Wolves and Witches, I was definitely intrigued by one or two. However, I felt

I had been then excited after the pocket-size excerpt that was shared before it's release, merely I plant that the book itself was lacking in real substance. I kept waiting in desperate anticipation for the more-ness that only never came.

I fell in dearest with the main characters in Volume ane and as others were introduced in Of Wolves and Witches, I was definitely intrigued past i or 2. Notwithstanding, I felt that Book 3 was sorely lacking in grapheme development, human relationship development, whatever forward movement on the multiple mysteries at mitt and very, very piffling additional information on key characters.

I am so sad that I even take to write this.

I was filled with and so much anticipation and ended upwards deflated with disappointed; the volume only felt similar a filler that nosotros could have done without because it could take been congenital up so much more.

The but major happening was the saddest and most senseless loss at the end, because why, oh, why do bad things happen to proficient people (who hadn't contributed at all to solving the ever-growing mysteries thanks to centuries old family promises of loyalty and devotion). That made zippo sense to me. Why did it accept to exist him????

There were some skilful moments that I dearly wish had been more than expanded, so I am grateful for the moments. I take been Team Harper since Book 1 and even in this one she was frustrating me greatly with her secrets and omissions and she seemed to be PMS-ing for a large role of this volume.

Only despite my frustrations, I am still Team Harper Plus iv – It is my keen hope that Book 4 reignites and fortifies the deep affection that I have for pre-book 3 Harper.

Okay, and so back to the main story. If y'all've read from the concluding book, Cal and Adrian had their bond from the pack removed because of their relationship with Harper.

As that happened, they currently alive at a property in the schoolhouse if I'm not mistaken. Anyways, all isn't well at the academy as somebody is murdering students and information technology isn't going well

Okay, then back to the principal story. If you've read from the last book, Cal and Adrian had their bond from the pack removed considering of their human relationship with Harper.

Every bit that happened, they currently live at a belongings in the school if I'm non mistaken. Anyways, all isn't well at the academy as somebody is murdering students and information technology isn't going well for Harper equally they are blaming her familiars.

We only acquire a footling bit of what her father was researching but at that place isn't much to go on from there. There are notwithstanding many secrets involving her family that she needs to discover and especially what her father was upwards to.

I merely can't believe the ending. Grab your tissues ready because I cried at the end. I never expected that to happen and information technology feels as though I'm with Harper on this

This 1 was iii.v stars for me. I idea information technology started out stiff and from the trivial sneak peek Elena had given, I was excited to read it. I was hoping for more romance betwixt Harper and Cal & Adrian as well as between Harper and Elias. And there were more steamy moments between Harper and her familiars also as between her and her professor and fifty-fifty moments between her and Draven. I liked seeing that and seeing Harper grow closer to all of her males. I liked getting and then see more of Draven but information technology would have been prissy to become to know more than about him. We didn't get to see anything about his life outside of Harper or what he did when he wasn't with her. Information technology was nice to meet Cal and Adrian stop fighting the familiar bond and accept what they had with Harper and for them to explore the relationship that was more than than just that bail.

I kind of felt like this story was slow and cypher really happened. The mystery of who was killing the students kind of derailed Harper from finding out who was responsible for the events at the terminate of book two. And her obsession with her male parent's periodical as well took abroad from that. The story only didn't click with me and I'm hoping that by the quaternary volume, I'll exist back invested. I'd love to encounter how things plough out for Harper and her friends and her males.

I wanted to like this serial so much. In fact I do like information technology, I just don't love it. I started book one because the premise of the story was actually interesting and I was eager to see where it ended up. Unfortunately, there'south just something, or multiple things, defective that get in almost impossible to connect with this story. Information technology's so hard to explain, considering I practice like the characters and their budding relationships, only I merely can't bring myself to read any more or finish this series which is very disappointing. I'1000 lacking an emotional connection to the characters and the story, even though I'm interested in both. It's so frustrating. Information technology was a struggle to go though this book since I just wasn't interested anymore, merely I at to the lowest degree wanted to stop since I'd already started it. Unfortunately I will not be standing this series. I'1000 sure the next book will reveal a lot and long awaited details will come to light, but I only can't. I think the writing was a petty…. Young?…. For me? It'due south so hard to put my finger on exactly what went wrong. Only if you liked or even loved the books of this series, don't allow my lack of interest dissuade y'all! I am in absolute dearest with this serial! Elena Lawson continues to impress in the 3rd book of the Arcane Arts Academy series.

This volume pickups pretty much where book 2 left off. We find out the fate of Harper's familiars at present that others know of their bond. Elias and Harper proceed their super secret just super sexy relationship AND nosotros get more of Draven in this i - yay!

Of class this book continues to expect for the answer as to what happened to Harper'southward male parent just Harper and 'the gang' are hit with another mystery to solve when students kickoff being murdered and bodies start showing upwardly on campus drained of blood. Of class suspicion is thrown at her familiars and Harper must unravel the mystery of the killings before someone she cares about gets hurt or killed.

This book has twists and turns, super sexy scenes, and I love Harper's character. The ending is shocking and will leave you set up for the next book in the serial.

This instalment felt as though information technology went really fast - but plenty happening in harpers world - her ability is getting stronger the more she works with it , she is growing closer to the men in her life and she is finally coming of age and able to venture outside of school to her own home now. But all is not perfect - her friendship with Bianca is strained and she has been actually strangely, girls are being murdered at schoolhouse and all fingers are pointi *Sort of spoilerish merely null major given away*
This instalment felt as though information technology went actually fast - but plenty happening in harpers earth - her ability is getting stronger the more than she works with it , she is growing closer to the men in her life and she is finally coming of age and able to venture outside of schoolhouse to her own home at present. Merely all is not perfect - her friendship with Bianca is strained and she has been really strangely, girls are beingness murdered at school and all fingers are pointing to her familiars - her men are finally discovering that the others in her circle and to top it off she is still trying to work out what her father has hidden in his periodical .
Once once again you are really drawn into the story - I read information technology in a few hours every bit I had to know what was going to happen. Tin't await to encounter where this goes !

The storyline around Bianca was crazy - though I did guess who the culprit could be. Not considering that character was mentioned oft, but they just stood out to me when we did encounter some interaction with them.

I'm really, actually gutted by this ending!! I loved that character, and I'yard so sad to meet him gone!!

On to the next one to meet what other adventures are about to happen!

The world is becoming more unsafe and complicated for all of them and Harper must try to figure out how to navigate these changes. The world is still precise throughout all the books with no discrepancy and the characters are condign more intricate the longer the story goes on. It keeps you intrigued without the loss of interest. Harper and the men face more than emotionally challenging issues in this book. From facing cutting ties to edifice their relationship to fighting for truth and justice. The globe is becoming more dangerous and complicated for all of them and Harper must endeavor to figure out how to navigate these changes. The world is however precise throughout all the books with no discrepancy and the characters are condign more intricate the longer the story goes on. It keeps yous intrigued without the loss of interest. They say that some series the longer they keep the less precise and interesting it can become. Ok, this isn't just a nod to HP anymore, this is more like re-telling.
When it became clear (pretty early on on) that the story wasn't going to be concluded in this book all I could recollect was I just want to be washed with it.
At this indicate information technology reads more like a patch-job of a bunch of other stories or similar I said a re-telling of HP of sorts ... full of plot holes, editorial issues, lack of character development plus reveals/surprises that fail to well... surprise.
I go on having to remind myself that they Ok, this isn't but a nod to HP anymore, this is more than like re-telling.
When information technology became clear (pretty early on on) that the story wasn't going to be concluded in this volume all I could think was I just want to be done with it.
At this signal it reads more than similar a patch-job of a bunch of other stories or similar I said a re-telling of HP of sorts ... full of plot holes, editorial issues, lack of graphic symbol development plus reveals/surprises that fail to well... surprise.
I keep having to remind myself that they're teenagers and therefore are supposed to be acting reckless, stupid, selfish and immature.

I have been off YA/NA since my kids have gotten to around that same age because, as teens do, they drive me crazy, and I tin can't assist seeing my kids as the primary character. In this latest, Harper is dealing with her best friend acting weird, Cal and Adrian's new living arrangements, and the deaths of a couple students. This was an interesting volume, and nosotros acquire a few secrets, including Harper'due south existent birthday. Co I take been off YA/NA since my kids take gotten to around that same age because, as teens do, they drive me crazy, and I can't help seeing my kids every bit the principal grapheme. With new murders happening on campus, and Cal and Adrian as prime suspects, Harper and her friends are adamant to find out who really did it. This is a fast paced, action packed story full of gamble and twists and turns. I cannot say enough virtually this writer a Of Beasts and Blood is the 3rd volume in the Arcane Arts Academy and the series just keeps getting improve! The serial continues with Harper doing her own investigation into the kidnapping and slaughter of the shifters and vampires. With new murders happening on campus, and Cal and Adrian equally prime number suspects, Harper and her friends are adamant to find out who really did it. This is by far the best book of the series. Elena did an incredible job with continuing the storyline. I was captivated from the very kickoff. I could not put this book downward. Harper has some strange things happen effectually her. The twists that come up near the stop blow my mind. The emotions near the terminate had me in tears. Then catastrophe is a cliffhanger merely non one that volition make you lot pull your pilus out.

Loved getting deeper into the story!

Wow, I swear each volume keeps pulling me deeper and deeper into the storyline and doesn't want to let go! I'm going to accept a book hangover for certain because of this. I loved watching the romance between her and Elias (fifty-fifty if in secret) and her other men too. Plus the latest mystery of who's killing people on campus had me on the edge of my seat! Seriously looking forwards to the 4th volume as I need answers to and so many questions I accept!! Must read!!

I have enjoyed this series from the very begging merely the story only gets ameliorate and amend every bit it develops and as the characters and their relationships develop. Harper is amazing . She's so strong, dauntless and fiercely protective. We get to see her relationships brainstorm to develop and movement a little further in this volume. I loved that this book had a completion of sorts. Even though nosotros know there is more to come we did observe a major part of the story out. This was an crawly read.

Where exercise I even commencement? I absolutely love this series. This book picks upward right where book ii left off and is easy to fall right back into the story. It has twists and turns that you don't see coming. Harper is a bang-up MC and is becoming a badass as the serial progresses and she learns more than near herself and becomes the person she is ment to exist. I tin can not expect to see what happens side by side and see if she can finally put together what happened to her father! Where practise I even get-go? I absolutely love this series. Dang. That ending. I sat and cried for a hot minute. They saved the last 2, but still some of the main questions are still out in that location. I cannot believe that the writer killed him off, I want to know what he knew about the Moon Room, or any it was called. I besides, want to know more than nigh Draven! I love him, Adrian and Cal. I'chiliad liking Elias more, but no where almost equally much every bit the other three. Book 4 needs to come up out quickly!
